Well I've never seen a two tailed fox in real life. So I thought it would be funny that when Sonic first met Miles Prower he was completly drunk. DOUBLE VISION!!! XD So he decided to call Miles, Tails.

And so since Sonic was so insistant that Miles had two tails, he decided to play along with it. He'll regret it later when Sonic gets him to fly. XD
